1942 Martin 00-42

One of the finest old Martins we've ever encountered.  This 1942 Martin 00-42 is wonderful in every way. It is absolutely gorgeous and it sounds incredible and plays spectacularly.

The Style 42 Martin Guitars (000-42, OM-42, 00-42, 0-42) are a spruce top, rosewood body (Brazilian in this case) Martin guitar that are only a step below the flagship Martin D-45 in Martins lineup.

The Style 42 is  slightly less ornate than a Style 45, with only pearl trim on the top (and not the back and sides like the Style 45). This Style 42 has an awesome sound and incredible workmanship.  The pearl & abalone inlays are superb!

1942 was the last year of production for the 00-42.
