For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1937 Kalamazoo KG-3/4 Sport Model.
Introduced in 1937 as a budget option to Gibson's acoustic guitars, the Kalamazoo KG-3/4 is a small body 3/4 scale guitar with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Later renamed the Sport Model sometime in 1938 with a matching headstock label, this 1937 KG-3/4 predates these updates but maintains the pointed headstock with straight sides, thick V-shaped neck, and 22.5" scale length.
This particular KG-3/4 has been cared for over the span of its life including several crack repairs on the top and back (one has been cleated on the back), a neck reset, a new bone saddle, and 3 new frets. The guitar is very stable in its current shape and sounds fantastic! The tone leans more towards treble but has a nice amount of bass to round it out and the resonance of the aged wood is to die for. Comes with a period-correct chipboard case.
Condition: Very Good
Case: 1930s Chipboard
