The Carr Rambler 1x12 combo tips its hat to the classic "Deluxe" amp design, making some modern improvements while retaining what guitarists everywhere love about the tone of vintage amps. The overall headroom in the 28-watt Rambler is significantly increased compared to the original Deluxe, allowing for more powerful cleans and a deeper, more solid bass response. A half power mode switches the 6L6 tubes from pentode to triode, 28W to 14W, changing the output tube clip point and personality of the amp in an instant. Reverb and tremolo round out the Rambler, making it one of the most prized boutique club amps on the market.
