For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Fender Telecaster.

While Lake Placid Blue might be the coolest custom color Fender ever made, there's absolutely nothing "placid" about this '66 Tele. This thing absolutely rips. And, like any good Telecaster, it can handle just about any style you throw at it.

In great shape after all these years, this one is all-original, with the Stackpole tone pot (which, unlike the volume pot, was legible) dating to the 31st week of 1966 and the neck stamped "3 AUG 66." Cosmetically, there are blemishes throughout, but that's fair for a guitar this old. The original owner did carve their social security number into the back of the headstock as well as the neck plate (for obvious reasons, we've obscured this in the pics), but that only adds to the mojo!
