For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1963 Gibson J-50.
Just in is this excellent sounding J-50. A excellent sounding, crack-free, handsome looking early 1960's Gibson J-50. It has its original finish throughout with the exception of a small bit of finish added to repair a small punch in the top (visible dark spot), original Kluson tuners, nut, frets and pickguard.
Spruce and mahogany body with white binding and thin tortoise/celluloid pickguard. Honduran mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, Kluson single-line tuners, and the original nut. It has the full width neck with a 1-11/16" nut, low-round carve, and 24.75" scale and original saddle.
It is all original including the ceramic bridge (we can change this to a rosewood bridge at the buyers discretion). Our in-house luthier Taras Andre repaired a small punch in the top (visible dark spot), otherwise this guitar is a beautiful survivor. The sound is rich and articulate as you'd expect from a slope shoulder Gibson and the action is spot on too. Comes with its original Gibson badged soft shell case.
