1960 Gretsch Jet Firebird

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1960 Gretsch Jet Firebird.

The Jet Firebird was first introduced in the mid-1950's alongside Gretsch's Jet line. The Firebird featured an "Oriental Red" top and black back but was otherwise identical to the Duo-jet. By 1961 however, the Jets began to take new form with a double-cutaway which is the version we have here. The dual filtertron pickups deliver chiming tones that Gretsch is famous for. The C neck is comfortable to play on and the rhinestone-studded pickguard that was done by a previous owner brings the whole picture together. Comes with the original hardshell case. This is one of the last single cutaway Jet Firebird’s made by Gretsch.
