This guitar, and the other 184 built, were one of the largest and most talked about guitars out of the Fender Custom Shop. This guitar rode on the coattails of the sale of "Blackie", Eric Clapton's faithful Stratocaster, for $959,500. The Custom Shop, with Todd Crause running point, painstakingly recreated the infamous guitar ding-for-ding, dent-for-dent, down to chipped off paint being filled in with a black marker. Comes in the reproduction Anvil Case, with all case candy, two certs (one signed by Clapton himself), and a T-shirt. Truly a must have for any serious collector!
