From the Breedlove website:

LEGACY SERIES

Only a few custom builders in America match the attention to detail in sound engineering and craftsmanship eloquence as Breedlove does with the Legacy Series. First we select exotic woods that give us the nuance in sound we are seeking for each of the four very different instruments. Knowing that tonewood density varies significantly among tree species and as much as 30% within a given tree, we SOUND PROFILE every top and back individually to ensure it is at our target frequency and pairing. Accomplishing this requires individually sanding each tonewood set, testing it, sanding it again and again until it gives us the frequency reading we have targeted for that exotic tonewood, body shape and sound objective. Then our master craftsmen handcraft each instrument. The attention to detail is incredible. The artwork in the Celtic rosette, the hand work of the detailed appointments, and the perfection in the finishing work. The pride and care that goes into each individual Legacy instrument is felt in the ease of playability, seen through the beauty in artistry, and heard with unrivaled tonal balance and note complexity. Handcrafted in Bend, Oregon. Each model comes equipped with a factory installed LR Baggs Anthem TRU-Mic and a deluxe hardshell case.

LEGACY CONCERTO E GUITARS

The Legacy Concerto is an enigma. Its design is beautiful. It is comfortable to play. Its music is sweet, complex and textured. Yet its voice is full, loud and ever-present. The power of the Adirondack spruce top matched with the sweetness of Hawaiian koa results in a unique instrument, different from any you have ever played before. SOUND PROFILING each tonewood set in each individual instrument is critical in achieving a fundamental resonance frequency that delivers big, robust sound. The larger air volume in the lower bout, allows notes to resonate and be enriched by the developing overtones. The Legacy Concerto accommodates heavy strumming, yet sings with a lighter touch, while delivering a warmer louder sound than traditional dreadnoughts.
