1968 Gibson Les Paul Burst Conversion

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1968 Gibson Les Paul 

The original reissue guitar, the 1968 Gibson Les Paul is the first year of Les Paul production after 1960, when the Les Paul transitioned into what is now known as the Gibson SG. When first reissued, the earlier production pieces were actually crafted from woods that had been lying around from the original bursts. Originally with a gold top and soap bar P90 pickups, this Les Paul went under the knife to become closer to what players picture when they envision a Les Paul in their minds. That being said, this piece has undergone a head stock repair prior to it being in our possession. UPDATE: Our in-house luthier, Tara’s Andre, redid the original headstock repair to neaten up the appearance of the guitar. This guitar is a fine example of a players grade vintage guitar, with many more years of life left in it.
