1966 Martin D-18

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Martin D-18

This D-18 is currently "THE" acoustic guitar here at Garrett Park Guitars. You know, the one that no one wants to put down. The one that provokes a child-like laugh after strumming one chord. It is loud, crisp and boomy, but delicate and articulate at the same time. It had a neck reset before we got it, and it was done by a professional, who did very tidy work. At some point, it also had a new, compensated saddle and new nut cut as well. The original bridge was cracked, and replaces with a period correct Brazilian rosewood bridge from Martin. The finish is also touched up in front of the bridge.

A few braces have been reglued, as well as back binding. 4 side cracks have been repaired. The pickguard was removed to have a crack repair, and was reset onto the guitar. Ebony bridge pins have been added. The guitar was refretted with Martin fretwire, frets 1-14 with .0225, and 15-20 with .0205.

All repairs have been affected with period correct hide glue.

Comes with the original hardshell case
