1966 Gibson LG-1

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Gibson LG-1.

This LG-1 is a knockout. Our luthier replaced the bridge with rosewood to match the fingerboard, replaced the bridge plate, smoothed out the frets, buffed & cleaned it, and did an awesome setup. It is ladder braced, and it has a gorgeous tobacco sunburst. These came originally with a ceramic bridge and the addition of solid wood bridge and a bone saddle is a huge improvement tonally. Most of the 1996 LG-1s we have seen are cherry sunburst but this one has the beauty and good looks of the earlier models. Nut measures 1 5/8".

We were frankly surprised at how good this guitar sounds and plays.

For its size, it sounds much bigger than it actually is!
