For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1954 Gibson ES-175.
The ES-175 was Gibson's early attempt to get into the electric guitar business and it has since become a premier jazz guitar. The cutaway design along with the P-90 pickup have made this a very desirable choice for guitarists and particularly Jazz guitarists since its inception.
This all-original example is a real survivor. It had a large crack on the upper side (pictured here) that was excpertly repaired by our luthier. Otherwise, there are some obvious signs of wear that you'd expect on a well played guitar of 70 years (finish wear on the back of the neck along with nicks and dings throughout the finish), but it is still incredibly resonant with a strong lower register and good midrange clarity.
