1932 Kalamazoo KG-11

Kalamazoo

This guitar is in our Hall of Fame Collection and is no longer available for purchase.

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this Kalamazoo KG-11

This 1932 Kalamazoo KG-11 is an excellent example of Depression-era Gibson Guitars. This model is at the higher-end of  Kalamazoo guitars made at the time of its construction. This KG-11 did have a crack down the center of the top, that had previously been repaired, and our luthier, Taras Andre, touched up a bit of the finish around the crack. At some point, the tuning machines had been changed as well. The KG-11 featured binding on the front of the body, with a "zipper" pattern around the soundhole. The construction is solid Adirondack Spruce top, with Mahogany back and sides. The tone is rich and woody and it's a joy to play.

Comes with a non-original gig bag.
