For your consideration is this 1935 Carson Robison Acoustic

Built exclusively for Montgomery Ward, this Carson J. Robison guitar is a fantastic treasure from the Depression Era. This guitar was built by the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The guitar features a sunburst spruce top, mahogany back and sides, an unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, and is a great sounding vintage Gibson-made small bodied guitar with loud crisp mahogany tone. This is a wonderful artifact of an extremely tough era, which someone would have probably spent what they made in a month on this guitar.
