For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe.
The Deluxe Goldtop
After bringing back the traditional Les Paul in 1968, Gibson started using the more modern appointments of its 1960's production on the 'new' Les Pauls including a volute, multi-ply body and neck, & of course the iconic mini-humbuckers.
This 1974 Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop is the same model and year played by Steve Lukather and is in excellent restored condition with little visible player wear. The tuners were at one point replaced with Grovers but have since been restored by our master luthier to period correct Gibson Deluxe tuners and the holes redowelled. It also looks like the original owner carved their license # into the back panel. As a player, this Deluxe is fantastic! The neck has a slim 60's C carve and the fretboard is a very lush rosewood. The dual mini-humbuckers, or 'New York' Humbuckers as they were sometimes called, have tons of power with all the growl and bite of their full-size counterparts. Comes with the original hardshell case.
