For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1968 Fender Coronado II
The very un-Fender like instrument was designed by Roger Rossmeisl, who had previously also designed instruments for Rickenbacker, but who went on to create numerous models for Fender, in an attempt to capitalize on the increasing popularity of semi-acoustic guitars following the high-profile use of hollow-bodied instruments. The Fender Coronado II was initially released in 1966 - 1972, it was reborn again in 2013 when Fender relaunched the guitar. Countless players have enjoyed the feel and tone of the Fender Coronado II including Elvis Presley, Jack White, Charlie Pride, and Jimmie Vaughn. No pickguard, binding was just repaired in our shop.
