1965 Gibson ES-335
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1965 Gibson ES-335.
One of the last truly wonderful 335s from Gibson's Golden Era, this early 1965 model has a lot in common with those produced in 1964, meaning this guitar just exudes that late-Cream Clapton vibe! The only significant differences are the double-ring Kluson tuners and the truss rod cover that were introduced early in '65.
This guitar has a 17 degree headstock angle. 1-11/16" nut width, beautiful block inlays, and an iconic cherry finish that's been maintained in outstanding condition. Someone really babied this thing -- and for good reason. It absolutely sings! It is completely original with the exception of the first three frets, which were replaced by our in-house luthier. The case appears to be for a J-45, but it is a vintage '60s case that fits.
