1963 Melody Maker DC

The Melody Maker series, originally marketed to beginner guitarists, may lack the refinements of a Les Paul or 335, but they more than make up for it with their unique tone and all-day playability. This '63 is no different: plug into a good, low-watt amp and say goodbye to those errands you were supposed to run.

Sporting a classic sunburst finish, this all-original double-cut is in excellent condition. The full neck is comfy (with no buzzing or dead spots) and that single-coil is unlike anything Gibson ever made. It's so articulate but still so warm... kinda makes you wonder why Ted McCarty and his team didn't do more with these p'ups. At any rate, this one's a real treasure! It comes with a non-original vintage Gibson hardshell case.
