For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1942 Gibson SJ Banner.
One of the first Gibson Southern Jumbos to come off the factory floor, this 1942 Gibson SJ is in excellent condition with minor player wear relative to its age. This 40's SJ has the classic round shoulders and wartime banner headstock logo. As far as playability, this Jumbo is great! Notes ring out with fantastic sustain and there is a good balance between the bass and treble. It had a neck reset at some point which we feel may have resulted in a hairline crack in the heel. The guitar is fine playing condition and comes with its original soft shell case. Tuners have been replaced with single row Kluson Deluxe but an original set could be retrofitted.
