For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 2002 Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Reissue Les Paul (R8)

Sometimes we wonder if they ever considered naming these the More Paul, because this is a whole lotta guitar. 

Featuring the classic combination of mahogany body with flamed maple top and rounded 50's mahogany neck graced with a rosewood fretboard, this guitar has range for days.  The Burstbucker pickups, controlled by Gibson's iconic three way switch and dedicated volume and tone knobs, clean up real nice if you're feelin' jazzy, but will scream when you need 'em to.  This guitar is in excellent shape with very little noticeable player wear.  Finally, this one weighs in at the lower end of the spectrum for Les Pauls at 8lbs 14.2oz. It has a wonderfully figured maple top with plenty of depth in a reverse Chevron pattern.
