As such, this amp features a more solidly braced baffle and a solid-state rectifier that Supro used to replace the\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e 5U4 tube used in earlier models, effectively tightening up the low end on the amp. The amp itself is in original condition save for a replaced 3 prong power cord and new matched output transformer tubes and it sounds amazing! With only one volume and one tone control, this amp brings a surprising amount of tonal variety. Certainly geared towards rock and blues tones a la Led Zeppelin, this amp also lends itself nicely to Jazz tonalities.
