1965 was a transition year for Fender and those newly swept into the rock and roll wave. The Fender Stratocaster was the model of choice for those musicians wanting to go electric like Dylan did. This Strat in Olympic White is a beautiful representation of that exciting time in music. Sporting a well loved look of many years of play, this guitar is in very nice shape and still sounds and plays incredibly. The white color has aged to a beautiful shade, giving this guitar a beautiful vintage look. It has been professionally re-fretted, and it plays remarkably. We just purchased this guitar from a 158 piece collection and this was the previous owners favorite guitar. Once you pick it up, you instantly feel at home on it and it’s easy to see why it was his favorite.
