1960 Fender Duo-Sonic - Desert Sand

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1960 Fender Duo-Sonic.
This is one of five first-run Duo-Sonics that we acquired recently. The whole collection is in excellent, all-original condition, and each guitar comes with its original tan hardshell case. These are some of the actual guitars featured in Fender: The Golden Age 1946-1970 by Terry Foster, Paul Kelly, and Martin Kelly, a copy of which will be included with each guitar.
A beginner's model, the Duo-Sonic features a 3/4 scale, two single coil pickups, a metal pickup selector, volume and tone controls, and a simple bridge with barrel saddles and a bridge cover.
This particular example from 1960 features a unique Desert Sand finish and a slab rosewood fingerboard. It is in fantastic shape with only a few dings throughout and modest weather-checking. As noted above, it comes with its original tan hardshell case.
