For your consideration, Garret Park Guitars presents this 1959 Gibson ES-330N TD.
Just in is this gorgeous, 1959 Gibson ES-330N TD. The gentleman who ordered this new in 1959 wanted a Bigsby tailpiece, which was not a factory option, so he had the dealer install one once it came in. When the tuner tips began disintegrating in the 1960s, he installed Grovers. Otherwise, this 330 is all-original and comes with its original brown Lifton case, which is cool in its own right.
For a 66-year-old, this guitar is quite the stunner, with only honest play-wear and modest weather-checking through (signs of use but not abuse). It's had flat wound strings on it for most of its life and, as a result, the frets are in great shape. Like its big brother, the 335, this 330 has a bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. It also features the original ABR-1 bridge, pickguard, strap pins, and a highly desirable '59 neck profile. The neck pickup reads 7.98k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.75k ohms. Natural 330s are quite sought after and ones from 1959 are rare as they only made 79 two pickup natural 330s. The model was officially launched startin in the fall of 1959.
