For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1959 Fender Bassman 5F6-A.

Fender's top of the line amp in the late 1950s, the 5F6-A Tweed Bassman is among Fender's most sought after amps of the era. Lauded for its excellent tone and output power, these amps are also well known for being the amp Jim Marshall would use to design his first plexi amps in the early 1960s.

Sure, this amp has some great history behind it, but it sounds amazing too. Pushing a surprising 40 watts of power through four fresh reissue Jensen P10R speakers, this amp delivers excellent clean tones with emanating breakup as you push past mid volume and into full distortion at max settings. Recently serviced by local amp wizard, Jeff Bober, this 5F6-A Tweed Bassman is roaring like it did 65 years ago. Comes with a reissue handle and grounded cable. Cabinet, chassis and all transformers are original.
