For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1942 Martin 00-21.

We love old Martins, and this WW2 era 00-21 is one to love. Recently worked on by our master luthier, Taras Andre, this 00-21 is ready to play for another 80 years to come.

This has extraordinary tone from the best tonewoods, Brazilian rosewood back, sides, with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a spruce top with Faux tortoise binding.

It features a 1 7/8″ nut, & the 12-fret to the body provides a full rich sound and the wider string spacing at 2 5/16″ is perfect for fingerstyle and flat-picking too.

Although it is all original with minimal play wear, a small crack was professionally repaired by the endpin/block utilizing Hyde glue and a minimal amount of finish to hide the repair. A small crack by the pickguard was also glued and cleated. The bridge plate and bridge are original, but the bridge has been reshaped by a previous owner. The heel has also been repaired seamlessly. The neck set and action are spot on! Please ask us for more details if you're interested.

This is 1 of only 24 made during this particular year.
