Part of Martin's Guitar of the Month series, this 1990 HD-28 is one of the earliest pre-war reissues to come from Martin and features a classic herringbone trim over its spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back & sides for which the model was given its BLE designation, an ebony fretboard with classic snowflake inlays, forward shifted X-bracing, and a comfortable slim C neck profile. The combination of vintage aesthetics with a few modern appointments makes this guitar highly versatile with a fantastic tone. Boasting deep bass and crisp trebles, this guitar has a fantastic tonal balance with great response to pick dynamics and a solid, ringing sustain. Martin's Guitar of the Month series is well known for having crafted superb guitars over the course of its run and this HD-28 BLE is part of that same crop. Comes with the original hardshell case and pictured paperwork.
