For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1986 Fender Vintage Series '62 Stratocaster.
Among the earliest examples of Fender's Vintage Series, this '62 reissue is about as close as you'll get to the real deal without ransacking your 401k. It features a slab rosewood neck, black bottom pickups, a three-way switch, and a two-tone sunburst finish. The neck is dated October 28, 1986, and the CTS pot codes confirm this year of manufacture (1378634 on the neck tone pot and 1278623 for the middle tone pot).
A single-owner Strat, this thing is virtually mint. (In fact, there is still some protective plastic film under the control knobs.) The only blemishes we can find are two tiny, round finish dings on the top of the body.
In addition to the factory tweed hardshell, this Strat comes with all sorts of case candy, from the original owner's receipt to the instruction manual.
