1984 Fender American Vintage Reissue '57 Stratocaster
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1984 Fender Stratocaster '57 Reissue in classic two tone sunburst.
In the early 1980s, Fender sought to recreate classic guitars that had made Fender a legend in their golden era. The '57 and '62 Reissue Stratocasters were just that and were a huge success for Fender.
This '57 reissue features a maple fretboard, sunburst finish, a single ply white pickguard as did the originals in 1957, three single coil pickups.
The early Fender '57 reissue guitars are sought after as they were made in the old Fullerton factory and feature old style black bottom pickups. The body and neck also have distinctive “Fullerton carves“ which distinguish them from the later Corona reissues. The pots date this one to 1984 as does the date at the end of the neck. It comes with its original tweed case, strap and tremolo bar. This guitar was purchased but rarely ever played, which is s shame as its sounds and plays great. It is in fabulous condition and in addition to being a great player, it is also collectible.
