For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1965 Gibson ES-175.
This ES-175 is an exemplary closet classic, with hardly a blemish on it after 60 years.
First released in 1949, the ES-175 was Gibson's attempt to break into the jazz scene, where it found a home in the hands of Joe Pass and Herb Ellis. But it wasn't long before other guitarists got hold of the model and turned it into a rock machine (see Izzy Stradlin or Steve Howe). All of this is to say, the ES-175 is as diverse as it is dynamic.
This 1965 example features dual patent sticker humbuckers, a wooden bridge, 1 11/16” nut width, trapeze tailpiece, and a rich mid-'60s Gibson sunburst finish. It has had a full refret & nut replacement by Phil Jacobi, (the original nut and factory frets are included). The original hardshell case is in great shape.
