1964 Fender Stratocaster

Garrett Park Guitars

This guitar is in our Hall of Fame Collection and is no longer available for purchase.

For your consideration is the 1964 Fender Stratocaster

This is an original. Every part 100% vintage Fender Stratocaster. Neck is dated June 1964 and features a beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. Original frets are in very nice condition too. Green nitro cellulose pick guard is crack free and positions the pickups perfectly with only the slightest hump by the bass side of the neck pickup. The neck itself is instantly an old friend, having just enough of a played in feel.

The pickups are amazing! Tone in spades, clacky and percussive, powerful & sensitive, these pickups are what made the classic tones and are simply tone candy for your ears. The electronics are bone stock, even has the 3 way switch.

We have many pictures of the electronics and neck and body shots, just ask.

The overall condition is impressive, when you open the original no logo case, you are immediately introduced to a very clean Sunburst Stratocaster . However this guitar was played, make no mistake as is evidenced by the belt wear on the back. But once you pick this guitar up you realize just why it got played so much, it is all that. It was played with the tremolo cover plate on and the corresponding  wear indicates that.
