1960 Gibson LG-1

Introduced in the 1940s, Gibson's LG series featured smaller, concert-size bodies similar to Martin's 00. As such, they may have lacked the low-end oomph of dreadnoughts and jumbos, but made up for it with their tonal clarity and ease of play, especially for smaller guitarists.

This 1960 LG-1, finished in classic Gibson sunburst, is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. It has low action. 1 11/16” nut width and an articulate, focused tone, making it ideal for fingerstyle or cutting through a busy mix. If you want a vintage Gibson acoustic without breaking the bank, or need something to complement a J-45 or Southern Jumbo, look no further!
