For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1958 Fender Princeton 5F2-A.
Introduced in 1956, the tweed Princeton is celebrated for delivering sweet, touch-sensitive low-wattage tube overdrive in a compact package. The 5F2 circuit was a step up from the 5F1 Champ, allowing tone control for a wider array of sounds within a slightly larger cabinet. Though intended for the student market, the Princeton was no lightweight and could hold its own with Fender's larger Deluxe and Harvard models in the tone department.
This example from 1958 is in very good condition with below-average wear for its age. Its intact factory tube chart shows the "HB" production stamp for February 1958.
This amp is mostly original, featuring its factory Jensen 8" and Triad transformers and most electronic components. Replaced parts are limited to the line cord, which has been changed to a modern ground cord for safe use, and a handful of Astron Minimites. All other components remain original.
