1938 Gibson L-C Century Of Progress
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1938 Gibson L-C Century Of Progress Acoustic Guitar.
The L-C was top of the line when it was introduced in 1933 as an example of Gibson's heritage and (then) state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques such as the MOTO fingerboard and headstock overlay.
This example from 1938 plays great, thanks to a neck reset performed by our master luthier. It has a very powerful voice for a smaller-body guitar, well balanced between the lows and highs, with real punch and clarity. The neck is a comfortable medium V. It comes with a newer hardshell case. There are a couple of repaired cracks that are stable, the braces are also very tight.
