Important Designations:

In 1965, Leo Fender sold the entire company to Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) and thus started a major change and arc in the history of vintage guitars.

With the changes of the post-CBS guitars to a slimmer neck, players noticed and started to look for pre-CBS Fender Stratocasters.  The real players did not like the slimmer neck profiles and the earlier 60's models became in high demand.

Is your guitar hardtail or does it have a tremolo?

Some hardtail Stratocasters can fetch more value than others.  If you are unsure of the type of Stratocaster you have, we can help you find out and also appraise it.  Email us:  info@gpguitars or call us 410-571-9660.
