1966 Supro s6420 Thunderbolt Amplifier

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Supro s6420 Thunderbolt Amplifier. 

This s6420 was one of the last few made before Supro discontinued the line. As such, this amp features a more solidly braced baffle and a solid-state rectifier that Supro used to replace the 5U4 tube used in earlier models, effectively tightening up the low end on the amp. The amp itself is in original condition save for a replaced 3 prong power cord and new matched output transformer tubes and it sounds amazing! With only one volume and one tone control, this amp brings a surprising amount of tonal variety. Certainly geared towards rock and blues tones a la Led Zeppelin, this amp also lends itself nicely to Jazz tonalities. Comes with the amp cover.
