For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1951 Epiphone Devon

Mostly original and in excellent condition aside from a few areas of top finish that were “dripped on” by the decomposing original pickguard which is now MIA.  17-⅜ body with original Frequensator (repaired) tailpiece.  Big, warm, resonant archtop.  1-11/16 nut with big neck and original but worn frets (still play okay).  Solid carved spruce top with either maple or mahogany sides, laminated back and cherry neck.  No cracks.  All nickel hardware with Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge.  Vintage Grover butterbean tuners have replaced the original round button Waverlys.  5.7lbs.  Black lights perfectly.  First Devon version with truss rod access at headstock (nickel truss rod cover).  Missing pickguard and heel cap.   Strap button added to heel.  Original black Lifton hardshell case is in nice shape.
