For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1994 Gibson Les Paul 59 Reissue painted by the master Tom Murphy.

This guitar is incredible condition with a beautiful thick flamed maple top.
The '94s that are painted by Tom Murphy are on the most collectible Les Pauls and this one, in near mint condition is a true collectors item.

Tom Murphy is one the best known names in the guitar world. Murphy’s association with Gibson has been an amazing journey or better said a quest to recreate the magic of Vintage Gibson’s. The story does not stop there as he pushed the envelope, challenging Gibson all along to make better and better, more accurate guitars.

The good wood years of the Gibson Custom shop started with the creation of the Gibson Art and Historic Division in 1993 and lasted till the end of the ‘90’s. Many experts consider the guitars Murphy worked on and painted in 1994 to be some of the most collectible of this important era. In fact the LPR-9s are the pinnacle of these guitars. This example, 9 4162 was just purchased from a major collection.
