1870's Martin 2 21

Martin

This guitar is in our Hall of Fame Collection and is no longer available for purchase.

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1870's Martin 2 21

This guitar came to us on consignment, and needed some work. We performed a neck reset, heat pressed the neck, and repaired the bridge plate. The results make for a wonderfully playing and huge-sounding parlor size guitar. Prior to coming to our shop, this guitar had seen several other luthiers and repair techs. Cracks had been fixed and the neck had been reset a few times. According to the owners of this guitar, the neck heel had broken, and the guitar was taken to Wayne Henderson to repair it. The Brazilian Rosewood back and sides have faded and greyed, but the tonal characteristics are still there!

Comes with a non-original hardshell case.

This guitar is here on consignment, so please, no trades.

Condition: Fair/Player grade.
