2015 PRS 30th Anniversary Custom 24 - Artist Package

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 2015 PRS 30th Anniversary Custom 24 Wood Library Artist Package. 

The 30th Anniversary Custom 24 was specially appointed with a unique inlay pattern and commemorative truss rod cover to celebrate 30 years of PRS Guitars and the Custom 24 model. In addition to the specifications that have remained unchanged on the Custom 24 since its inception (the woods, scale length…), this 30th Anniversary edition features the new 85/15 treble and bass pickups.

Designed personally by Paul Reed Smith in conjunction with the new 85/15 pickups for PRS’s 30th Anniversary year, 85/15’s are uncovered pickups with remarkable clarity and extended high and low end perfect for more modern applications. This blend of tradition and innovation mirrors the culture that PRS developed over the last three decades.

The Custom 24 is the original Annapolis factory PRS. When this guitar was introduced in 1985, the combination of a 24-fret, 25” scale length, dual humbucking, tremolo guitar was a distinctive configuration, offering players a new tonal option. Pairing this with a more traditional combination of maple top, mahogany back, and rosewood fretboard helped give the Custom 24 its signature look, feel, and tone. For three decades, the Custom 24 has been a perennial favorite of musicians, defining the playability and tone that PRS guitars are known for.

This is a very nice PRS Custom 24 that was made in PRS 30th year and was built from  their Wood Library to produce this fine and beautifully finished Faded Charcoal Custom. (The Wood Library program gives dealers an elaborate selection of woods from which to build special runs.) This Custom 24 is all-original and immaculate. It was clearly babied by the original owner, and for good reason: this is one comfy, killer sounding guitar! It comes with the original paisley hardshell case and case candy. Comes with a maple fingerboard and flamed maple neck too.
