For your consideration is this 1999 Gibson 40th Anniversary '59 Reissue.

1999 was the 40 year anniversary of the original '59 Les Paul Standard, a guitar that has affectionately become known as simply the 'Burst. The 'burst being one of the favorite tool of choice of Rock and Roll legends. Players like Peter Green, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Michael Bloomfield and a host of others used the 'Burst to make legendary music.

This guitar is an amazing player, and it toured the world making great music. The maple top is quite nice and has an unusual squiggly flamed Eastern Maple top. There are a few dings that you would expect from a guitar that was played and toured for over 10 years, but still the inherent beauty of this guitar is still there. It comes equipped with the original brown Lifton Reissue case and all case candy and certificate, but it has been upgraded to Seymour Duncan Antiquities. The set up and action are perfect, and the intonation is spot on, this is a players guitar that also looks amazing.
